Privacy

In short

• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• Your photos, videos, files and app list are looked at on the phone only. Nothing about them is uploaded.
• History and trends are stored on the phone only and disappear when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
• The app makes only the requests listed below.

What stays on your phone

• Cleaning: the app reads your media library (with your permission) to find duplicate photos, old screenshots and large videos. Android asks you to confirm before anything in your library is removed.
• A folder you choose: if you pick a folder, the app looks only inside that folder.
• Apps and sizes: with Usage access (which you grant in Android settings) the app shows how much space each app uses.
• History, trends and game settings: kept in the app's private storage on the phone.
• Full report (Pro): built on the phone; it goes only where you send it with Android's share menu.

The requests the app makes

• Pro purchase check (only when you buy Pro, restore it, and once a day while Pro is active): the product ID and the purchase token from Google Play are sent to raincleaner.eu. Our server asks Google whether the purchase is valid and answers with a signed yes or no. We keep the purchase token, its state and the order ID to answer those checks and to handle refunds. No name, email or device identifier is sent by the app.
• Network measurement (only when you press the button): timed connections to a public DNS resolver (1.1.1.1). No data is sent in them.
• Links you tap open in your browser.

Payments

Pro is sold through Google Play. Payment details are handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; we never see your card or Google account details. You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play.

Your choices

• Every permission can be refused or taken back in Android settings; the app keeps working without it and tells you what is missing.
• Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes everything it stored on the phone.
• To have purchase records removed from our server, write to us from the Google account email that made the purchase and include the order ID.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
